New!

After the death of an elderly German man, his children have come together to take care of his belongings. However, an unexpected item leads to very conflicting opinions, and suddenly the family members find themselves in a passionate ideological debate. Through the lense of one family, “Nachtland” reveals the fate of the Western world, where the topics are sensitive and important. A battle between ambitions and moral justice, permissiveness and morality, raw stubbornness and intelligence. A battle where there can only be one winner… the viewer.

The sharp comedy by Marius von Mayenburg, the most prominent German playwright of our time, premiered for the first time at the end of 2022 at the Schaubühne Theater in Berlin.
