Isn’t it that the parents program their kids (not) to get by in life? We don’t really know how to raise kids. We are surprised that we managed to become adults ourselves and yet we have our own kids. We don’t plan to raise our children the way we were raised and yet we do it anyway.
In every old person, there’s an inner confused child who doesn’t understand how the world works. And in every child there is a little adult who understands the world much better than their parents.
Ivar Põllu, the creative leader of Tartu New Theatre, has written this play especially for these actors of Tallinn City Theatre.
