I was thinking about the day when first we met. You and I. Do you remember? I bet you don’t remember anything about it.

„Carousel” is an analysis of relationships, a playful story of the repetitive patterns of love, where truth and lies, desire and disappointment are always swapping places, begging the question – can we ever truly know a person? The play is one of the first written by the famous French playwright Florian Zeller and is both lighter and more humorous than his later texts, but already displays the author’s characteristic stylistic method, that gives his plays an extra layer of meaning. It tends to happen in life that when we are looking for a new love, we are always looking for the same thing, over and over again.
